George
Guyer - George H. Guyer is a fifth generation
Oregonian, whose family came to Oregon on the Oregon Trail
and settled in Eastern Oregon. Mr. Guyer was raised in Baker
City, Oregon, where he was active in the community, including
the Boy Scouts of America, where he earned the rank of Eagle
Scout.
After
graduating from Baker High School Mr. Guyer attended Willamette
University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political
Science. While studying at Willamette, Mr. Guyer volunteered
for the American Legion Boys State Program, was President
of the Willamette Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity,
and co-founded "StART," a student rape awareness
and prevention group, which is still active at Willamette
University.
Upon
graduation from Willamette University Mr. Guyer received
a Trustee Scholarship from Willamette University College
of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1997.
Mr.
Guyer practiced in downtown Portland with a small firm until
opening his own firm in Lake Oswego. His current practice
focuses on business acquisitions, small business transactions,
tax planning, real estate, estate planning and non-profit
organizations. Mr. Guyer and his wife, Anastasia Yu Meisner,
also an attorney, enjoy working together.
Mr.
Guyer is a member of the Willamette University College of
Law Young Alumni Committee, the Baker City Chamber of Commerce,
the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce, and the Lake Oswego
Rotary Club.

Anastasia
Yu Meisner
- Anastasia Yu Meisner is a 1994 graduate of Willamette University
College of Liberal Arts and 1997 graduate of Willamette University
College of Law.
She
obtained a wide variety of legal experiences in small and large
firms and the public and private sector. This includes work in
solo law firms, a multi-national law firm, the Oregon Department
of Justice, the Oregon Court of Appeals, the Oregon Bureau of
Labor and Industries, and the US Consulate in Shanghai, China.
In
1998, Ms. Meisner began employment at the professional association,
the Oregon State Bar, in government relations, where she helped
to create new Oregon laws. During that time, she also developed
an informal client and attorney mediation program. She began her
business transactions and estate planning practice at Guyer Meisner,
Attorneys with her husband, George H. Guyer in June 2001. In addition
to her business and estate planning clients, Ms. Meisner enjoys
representing a variety of tax exempt organizations.
Ms.
Meisner also volunteers in a variety of professional activities.
Her current interests include the Oregon Minority Lawyers Association,
the Oregon State Bar Diversity Law Section, the Oregon Law Foundation,
and Mercy Corps' Planned Giving Advisory Committee. She also was
recently published as a contributing author to the Oregon State
Bar 2003 publication The Ethical Oregon Lawyer.
